Products Database CD – Readme

This database contains information about fruit species and their products. You can either browse species or their all possible products. When searching for a product, search result will filter only the species for which the products exist.
- The CD will install Inmagic DBSearchworks on your computer.
- Once installed, the interface will allow users to browse and retrive information from the database.
- Only the Web links (http Protocol) will be active.
- for other file references; please use windows explorer or the list of publications
- No record addition or modification is allowed.
- This is a stand-alone version of the full web based ICUC Products Database (To be launched soon)

- Click on the install button at the end of this document
- Select "Run" from the Windows Security Warning boxes
- The installer will start the installation procedure.
- Start the InmagicDBSearchworks by selecting:
Start >> Programs >> Inmagic Applications >> DB Searchworks Run-time (see screenshot)
- Once the Inmagic Searchworks opens, open the ICUC database
File >> Open >> browse to the CD and open the file ICUC.tba in the Database folder (see screenshot)
- Now the database is ready for browsing (see screenshot)

You can either browse species or their all possible products as you can
select by product only those species for which the product exists.
- To view the images associated with each record click on the "Show record Images" icon on the Inmagic Searchworks toolbar.
- After doing a search to get back to the query screen click the "Query Screen" button on the Inmagic Searchworks toolbar
- To select from different display screens of search results, click the "Select form for this window icon on the Inmagic Searchworks toolbar
