Regional consultation wokshop: Strategies for research and
development of underutlised plant species for Africa
ICUC together with GFU and co-hosts World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and Intenational Plant Genetic Resources Institute (IPGRI) is organising an expert consultation on underutilised plant species in Africa. 30 Experts from Benin, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe and from regional and international organisations, are gathering from 24 to 26 May in Nairobi, Kenya to discuss how to make better use of these neglected natural resources to reduce hunger and poverty in Africa.
