ICUC welcomes intern

ICUC is pleased to announce the arrival of Mr Robert Kunz, who holds a stipend from the German
g overnment. Robert is studying towards a Bachelor degree in Horticulture Management at the
University for Applied Sciences Wiesbaden in Germany. For the next five months, he will be carrying
out work towards the development of biological plant protection agents for underutilised crops in a
joint project with ICUC and the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI), Colombo, under the joint supervision
of Dr Hannah Jaenicke at ICUC and Dr Shanthi Wilson at ITI.
