ICUC Position Paper on Underutilised Plant Species: The Role of Biotechnology

ICUC presents its position and policies regarding the use of biotechnology methods in its first Position Paper. After a thorough review of biotechnology methods and an assessment of current use of such methodologies in major crops and underutilised species, we discuss how ICUC and its partners can use the potential of biotechnology to improve and promote underutilised plants.
